RESULTS grassroots volunteer Gillian Price has recently created a petition on global campaigning website Avaaz. The petition calls for disability to be included systematically in the post Millennium Development Goals.

The current MDGs -the main global framework for all development practitioners- do not mention disability once in their entire text. As the January 2015 deadline for the MDGs approaches we are going to be campaigning non stop to ensure that disability is explicitly addressed as a major driver of poverty and inequality.
